God is the Judge

7 But God is the Judge: (Psalm 75:7a)

At times we need to take our case to the supreme Judge. Our Lawyer is Jesus. The process may be slow in our eyes, but the final judgement will be just.

7b He puts down one,
And exalts another.
8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup,
And the wine is red;
It is fully mixed, and He pours it out;
Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth
Drain and drink down.

9 But I will declare forever,
I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 “All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off,
But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”
(Psalm 75:7b-10)

It is the Lord who determines that which is righteous and that which is wicked. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, but God calls such good intentions, "wickedness." It is not good intentions that God calls for, it is obedience to His Law-Word.
