2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. (Proverbs 25:2)
In the beginning God ... and then, at the end, God shall be all in all, and in between God is the great theme and reason of life. Our highest purpose is to know Him and to enjoy Him forever, therefore, our lives need to be marked by ceaseless desire and effort to discover more of God. There will never be an end to what can be known of God, therefore our quest is boundless.
The character and nature of God is stamped upon all that He has created, and the understanding of all that is to be known of God is given through His divine revelation, the Bible. God has made us to be kings and priests under His sovereignty, and as such, it is our glory to search out all the treasures that God has concealed in both the creation around us, and the sacred Scriptures. This pursuit is to be done for the glory of God; that we may know Him, and then in turn make Him known.
Study is not the domain of young school students, it is the lifelong passion of those who would live as kings, as God has ordained.
