Preach and teach the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead. (Acts 17:30-31)

God commands repentance of all men, He does not invite them to think about whether they would like to make Him their Heavenly Santa. The options are:

1. Repent and live a holy life before a holy God; or
2. Be judged with the world by the Lord Jesus Christ, against His standard of righteousness.

Christ's raising from the dead was the evidence that this is true. The resurrection, therefore, is the most critical doctrine of the Christian Church, and needs to be a central focus of our preaching and teaching.

Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ.”
(Acts 17:2-3)

Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods,” because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. (Acts 17:18b)
