Whither the Floods in Pakistan

Of recent days I have heard such sentimental and humanistically focused talk about the floods in Pakistan. There is a God in heaven, and He is angry with the wicked every day.

Go to this website:

and read about the Government-sanctioned persecution of Christians throughout the political state of Pakistan. God heard the screams of the Christian men, women and children as they were burned alive and massacred by apostate mobs all in the name of a false and evil religion: Islam.

Just as God heard the cries of the martyrs in the days leading up to the destruction of apostate Jerusalem in AD 70, so God has heard the cries leading up to the discipline of apostate Pakistan.

The compassion expressed by Christains towards the perpetrators of such evil and merciless persecution, must also be couched in the message of repentance. "Pakistan, stop your evil persecution of Christian people within your borders; turn from your wilful rejection of the only name given amongst men whereby which we must be saved; that is, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Learn to fear the Triune God, lest His anger be increased towards you."

And the situation in Pakistan must be a warning to all nations that turn their back on the Living God. Australia, America, Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain, and every other nation that has in the past made the Lord Jesus Christ the foundation of its political existance, return to the Lord, or you also will feel the heat of His wrath and vengeance.

Jeremiah 2:4-13 Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: What wrong did your ancestors find in Me that they went far from me, and went after worthless things, and became worthless themselves? They did not say, 'Where is the Lord who brought us up from the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and pits, in a land of drought and deep darkness, in a land that no one passes through, where no one lives?' I brought you into a plentiful land to eat its fruit and its good things. But when you entered you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination. The priests did not say, 'Where is the Lord?' Those who handle the law did not know Me; the rulers transgressed against Me; the prophets prophesied by Baal, and went after things that do not profit. Therefore once more I accuse you, says the Lord, and I accuse your children's children. Cross to the coasts of Cyprus and look, send to Kedar and examine with care; see if there has ever been such a thing. Has a nation changed its gods, even through they are no gods? But My people have changed their glory for something that does not profit. Be appalled, O heavens, at this, be shocked, be utterly desolate, says the Lord, for My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living water, and dug out cisterns for themselves, cracked cisterns that can hold no water."

Our Australian Constitution begins:

"WHEREAS the people of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland; and Tasmania, humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God, ..."

yet, many of the Representatives elected to our most recent Parliament (2010) are seriously talking about introducing such legislation as the legalisation of homosexual marriages. This is a contradiction to the Law of God, which is evoked by the above quoted portion of the Preamble to our Constitution. God's blessing is only imparted to those nations which obey His Law. Those nations which spurn His Law, and treat His people with disdain, shall receive of His just vengeance (as exemplified in the recent floods in Pakistan).

Christian people of the West, shake off your lethargy, wake up from your spiritual stupor, recognise the judgements of the Triune God in the earth, lest they overtake us in our disobedience, for judgement must begin at the house of God.

Thanks for bringing the situation in Pakistan to our attention. Could you please prepare another blog addressing what I suspect would or will be objections from well-intentioned Christians (pagans, well-intentioned or otherwise, is another matter!) The questions is this: How exactly can you single out Pakistan as deserving of divine judgment as you have explained the matter? Christians are being slaughtered in any number of countries, Sudan, for example. Why, therefore, is God not punishing these nations likewise, and how exactly can we distinguish divine retribution from simply the vagueries of 'Mother Nature'?

Trusting I have not posed too difficult a challenge for you!
